ABOUT

image0_edited_edited.jpg

My name is Nathalie Serrano-Feliz and I am a born and raised New Yorker. My journey to becoming a licensed massage therapist was more of a switchback than a straight road. I graduated from John Jay College in 2012 with a plan to focus on prison-reform. When I realized the limitations to trying to create reform within a broken system, I switched gears towards activism as a method to serve my community. In 2014, I became a doula, and discovered first-hand the impact that touch had on a laboring person. It greatly assisted in alleviating their stress and tension. I knew I wanted to dive deeper into the power of touch, and I decided to also become trained as a massage therapist.

Massage therapy requires verbal and non-verbal communication to create a more rewarding exchange,  and I make it my duty to listen carefully. I tap into my own wisdom and intuition to serve my clients with a mix of modalities and techniques that will assist them in finding balance within themselves. I continue to push to be an agent of change in my community, reminding others that self-care should be considered a right, not a privilege. It is our duty to take care of ourselves, and each other, and I invite you to add my services as an integral part of your own self-care regimen.
